Bioinformatic Analysis for Metabolomics
About the Infographics
Metabolomics is the study of a complete set of metabolites in a specific cell or organism. Metabolomics analysis aims at simultaneously identifying and quantitatively analyzing intracellular metabolites. Since metabolomics is focused on a whole set of metabolites, it reflects the metabolomic activity of the organism, and hence, allowing the researchers to thoroughly explore the biological system. An accurate study on metabolomics relies on sensitive and sophisticated analytic platforms and bioinformatics analysis systems.
This infographic introduces the process of data pre-processing and normalization before data analysis and the analysis methods available in univariate analysis, multivariate analysis, and clustering analysis, such as fold change analysis, PCA, and heatmap analysis. Download for more information.
